Zephyranthes reginae Native to San Luis Potosi province of Mexico this species was found by Thad Howard and originally distributed as sp. 'Valles Yellow'. Superficially resembling primulina this species can be distinguished by the fact that the flower fades on the second day as shown in this photograph and flowers in mid-summer as opposed to late spring. I have found this to be an easy to grow species.
